You see that? That’s the face of someone who has almost lost five whole pounds. It may be slow going, but those five pounds (and many more to come!) are staying the eff off. Whoo!

More important than losing this weight is: 

  • How much energy I have
  • How great my eating habits have become!
  • How much I’ve learned to enjoy working out
  • The commitment I’ve stuck to for this long
  • The fact that I’m doing something great for myself
  • The giant self esteem boost I’ve had
  • The improvement of my mood
  • Applying this drive I have to do well to ALL areas of my life
  • My happiness and well being help others be happy and well too
  • Etc, etc, etc

I’d continue, but I have dinner with a friend in 40 minutes and a boatload of studying for my calculus and cell bio quizzes tomorrow. 

WHOEVER YOU ARE, KEEP ON TRUCKIN’
